Being the hometown panties, I didn't tread far after graduation. I stayed at home, working my buns off in order to get out of this town! Nothing jumped out at me as something I wanted to study and make into a career, so I figured why not travel and hopefully spark my imagination as I go. As the days grow colder, my excitement grows stronger, counting down the days until my plane takes off, friendship panties in tow! Until then, I'm filling every waking hour with work and odd jobs to help keep me clothed and well fed in my travels. zzzzzzz... (If only I had the time for some shut eye!)
Trinity Panties:
As Trinity Panties, I packed up my books, my shoes, my clothes, and of course my friendship panties. I caught a ferry and unpacked at Trinity Western University. It hasn't been the biggest adventure but I'm comfortable. Perhaps too comfortable...I'm studying Art. My most favourite thing ever. But not the most practical or realistic or sensible or productive of areas (trust me, I've heard it all) But you can except me to express myself, pour my heart out, all that sappy, over emotional artist stuff. Here, I'm hoping to grow in my relationship with Christ, my friends, myself, and my paintbrush. We'll just see where it takes me.
UBC Panties:
UBC panties is pretty self explanatory. I ventured over the great blue to UBC which is a massive transition for my hometown. The real draw for me here was to play on the field hockey team, while studying what I love - English. Yes, I know most people hate english, but I love it. In the meantime there's been lots of transitions and adjustments, but I will promise to wear my friendship panties as often as the laundry will allow.
